LEXIE CANNES STATE OF TRANS — UPDATE: May 17, 2015 — Arrest made in London killing. From Gay Star News:

(Original article – April 8, 2015) Police in London say the body of a trans woman was found in a flat on March 28th. The victim was identified as Vanessa Santillan, originally from Miami, Florida. Met Police say the victim had head and neck injuries. A suspect was arrested but police say they are still looking for witnesses and people who knew her in London.

In Pakistan, two trans women were gunned down and a third gang raped earlier this month according to a report in the Gay Star News.  After performing at a wedding, the trio was accosted by a group of men. Refusing their demands, two women were immediately shot. The third was released later after being gang raped for hours. The men were frequent attendees of the trio’s dance performances according to an anonymous police source. It is not known if the men have been placed in custody.

The identity of the victims have not appeared in any reports.
