LEXIE CANNES STATE OF TRANS — Update Aug. 20, 2014. Michelle Duggar’s attempt to derail the anti-discrimination ordinance has FAILED. This from the Fayetteville Flyer:
“Fayetteville City Council members passed a controversial anti-discrimination ordinance early Wednesday morning following nearly 10 hours of public discussion and debate that began Tuesday evening inside City Hall.”
However, there is a caveat:
“During the meeting, aldermen amended the ordinance – at the request of Petty – to exempt all tax-exempt properties or places of worship owned by a church from being included.That move, [Alderman] Petty said, was to appease religious groups who earlier this month said they should not have to open their places of worship to people of different beliefs.”
Appeasement, indeed. This is the group of people that discriminates the most. Sort of a hollow victory.

(Original Article) By using a series of blatant lies in a robocall, opponents of a Fayetteville, Arkansas trans protection bill hope to prevent what they describe as ‘predatory behavior’ by transgender people.
A trans/LGBT protection bill is in front of the city council and has yet to become law. Opponents have recruited prominent Baptist and TLC network’s Michelle Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting in the their efforts to derail the bill. She introduces herself and voices the entire call.
Duggar:
“The Fayetteville City Council is voting on an ordinance this Tuesday night that would allow men – yes I said men – to use womens and girls restrooms, locker rooms, showers, sleeping areas and other areas that are designated for females only.
I don’t believe the citizens of Fayetteville would want males with past child predator convictions that claim they are female to have a legal right to enter private areas that are reserved for women and girls.
I doubt that Fayetteville parents would stand for a law that would endanger their daughters or allow them to be traumatized by a man joining them in their private space. We should never place the preference of an adult over the safety and innocence of a child. Parents, who do you want undressing next to your daughter at the public swimming pool’s private changing area?
I still believe that we are a society that puts women and children first. Women, young ladies and little girls deserve to use the restroom or any other facility in peace and safety. . . .”
FreeFayetteville and the Arkansas Family Council are the names behind the robocall campaign.
In response to the robocall, Alderman Matthew Petty, a supporter of the bill, said this to the Fayetteville Flyer (and reprinted in Think Progress):
“[they] are spreading this misinformation because they are skilled political strategists and they believe it is an effective proxy for their bigotry.”

We’ve seen this intimidation many times before, fortunately, these things tend to backfire on them. I hope the city fathers see through these lies.

She sure doesn’t know what she is talking about. I bet that she hasn’t bothered to educate herself on the subject of crossdressing. I came out in late 2009. Wasn’t easy. I also belong to Tri-Ess, and one of their local chapters.
This isn’t about safety or even the truth. It’s about unabashed hatred.
“Women, young ladies and little girls deserve to use the restroom or any other facility in peace and safety. . . .” Depends on their mind set. They could be psychotic sexually exclusive whores who manipulate others with female relational aggression backed by the same predatory males she accuses others of being, or they could just be female-brained. But this attempt at saving herself should lift her above the crowd, get her first eats, and open her backdoor to the KOH.
I am going to try not to be too brutal, however. I want to know why someone who doesn’t know how to say no to her husband, can offer any kind of advice about how humans should act. With 19 children (and counting), give me a break. The actual statistics as fact, 10% of the population is L.G.B.T., I wonder how many of her children are lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, or (O.M.G.) transgender. If any are, I’d be willing to bet that Michelle Duggar will be one of the first to disown them and try to publicly humiliate them. I also have a question for the television viewing public, why did you elevate these people to celebrity status? They did nothing worthy of more than a side note at the end of the “strange but true” segment of a news broadcast. Have they cured any diseases, stopped any wars, saved anyone from disasters? NO, all they’ve done is pump out children. If anything they should be held up as what not to do with your lives, and now Michelle Duggar is telling the population of an entire state to legally discriminate against part of their population. She needs to go back to her farm and be the good little lady for her husband. His dinner needs cooked, the floors need scrubbed and the beds need made.
Yeah, people, but at least the way it is now, no male that wanted to harm women and girls could dress up in “female” clothes and infiltrate a restroom because it just couldn’t happen.
What a dumbass. Does she think that allowing people whose gender identity is complicated to be able to relieve themselves when not at home will break some god-protected barrier that is apparently the only thing holding back all those terrifying males that are just chomping at the bit to get our little chicks? I don’t think she likes men very much, for all her talk of submitting to the superior version of the species.
How many of her children are gay or trans?
It seems to me there’s a of hatred towards transfer people if they check the records for more people an children are harmed by so called strength people so think she wants to get the facts right before she opens her super gob
I’m trans and definitely not into taking advantage of children.
I do think that pedophilia is a mental illness. There is a correct way to help people who have thoughts and urges like these, instead of criminalizing them.
Criminalization of the mentally ill has become common place in the US due to the lack of actual funding for rehabilitation programs. Case and point, here in Greece as I trans person i can’t find a doctor who can prescribe hormone replacement therapy nor provide complimentary blood work.
The same has happened to schizophrenic and bipolar people in the US. They can’t get the help that they need, their problems manifest in ways that are arguably criminal, like shooting up schools and the likes. Of course nobody ever considers this, rather in the case of schizophrenics who can’t get help and go shooting up schools “guns are actually the problem and should be banned.”
Actually forgot to mention, a friend of mine killed himself because he was a pedophile and couldn’t get help. He might have … been able to if he had before he acted on his urges but once its too late you’re a criminal, scum of the earth piece of trash and you might as well kill yourself, because there’s no help for you…. it turns out.
I’m not sure why people are so inclined to believe:
– All mentally ill people are the same
– pedophiles are incorrigible
It seems no matter what you tell people, they only hear what they wanna hear, they only believe what they want to believe.
I may just kill myself, too.
And if I may merely point out, arrogant people are only a tenth of whats wrong with the world; the rest seems just as hopeless– so if I do kill myself, nothing personal just can’t deal with all of it anymore and I can’t escape it either.
Don’t kill yourself, please. Move to Spain!

Of course I’m no one to talk. I’ve actually paused to try to figure out how to take my body off–and I really wanted to. The last time I saw my psyche she asked if I was suicidal, and I said “No”, but then the real answer was “No, but I’m gonna destroy this body…. Oh wait, I live here…”
So is it “I” who wants to destroy my body, or is it my brain struggling with something it can’t stand? The answer’s important, because rather than surprising myself with a knife or a can opener sometime, “I” might be able to do something else, even as a distraction. Just to get away from a brain that mistakes my body for some kind of bug.
They’re really working hard on endocrinologists, but I just want it to be over, so I can relax. Visualizing still helps, but I don’t think I can take much more disappointment either. If it’s true that there won’t be any relief, I’ll just travel to the end of the world, and lie down. Plenty of trouble along the roads sometimes. Especially when you don’t look the part.
As far as pedophilia goes, I’ve read that it’s a variation in the BSTc AND the amygdala, which would in most cases make it without present cure, but there are many cases of single-incident assaults. Even Blanchard (mea culpa, forgive me) said that in some cases it need not be and isn’t acted on. Being primarily a male trait, involvement of a female BSTc doesn’t signal the condition.
It’s true that they’ll do anything they can to avoid responsibility for the queering of the world.
