THE GUERRILLA ANGEL REPORT — (Update — Oct. 25, 2013. There has been a second arrest. See below.) The Los Angeles Police Department arrested one of the four suspects involved in the brutal beating of trans woman Vivian Diego in May.
Nicol Shakhnazaryan is jail with his bail set at just over a million dollars. His arrest followed the city’s announcement of a $25,000 reward for information in the case. The LAPD says they are working with the FBI in finding the three other suspects and a hate crime charge possibility exists.
Diego was attacked after she left her place of employment — Beso, a restaurant owned by actress Eva Longoria.

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Police on Wednesday announced the arrest of a second suspect in the beating of a transgender woman in Hollywood this past May. While conducting an on-going investigation, authorities said they got enough information and probable cause about a suspect to make an arrest.
