THE GUERRILLA ANGEL REPORT — (UPDATE April 24, 2014 — All 5 killers sentenced. See below.) After searching in a landfill for weeks, Milwaukee Police have called off the search for the body of trans man Evon Young who was murdered on News Years Day. Five men have been arrested in the killing. An admission by one of the killers led police to believe Young ended up in a landfill.

Young was known in the Milwaukee area as rapper Yung LT. Reports indicate that there may be enough evidence to bring the killers to trial without a body.
As a side note, apparently many of the Milwaukee area media continues to refer to young by his birth gender and birth name even though his family has insisted Young identifies as a male.

I’ve been keeping track of the Evon Young case and the five people, Victor Stewart, Ashanti Mcalister, Billy R. Griffin, Ron Joseph Allen, and Devin L. Seaberry who were arrested and charged with the murder of the 22 year old transmasculine rapper.
It took a while for the five people accused of his murder and their cases to work their way through the justice system in Wisconsin, but it has finally happened.

One of the five men accused of killing an up-and-coming transgender rapper in Milwaukee was sentenced to life in prison for his role in the intentional homicide of 22-year-old Evon Young.
Ashanti McAlister, 19, admitted to shooting Young three times after other gang members had suffocated and strangled Young,
