Going . . . going . . .
THE GUERRILLA ANGEL REPORT — We should have known we were going to be played with. After all, just last Summer the Boy Scouts of America reaffirmed their policy of keeping gay people out of the organization. A sudden about face now can easily go back the other way. I one of the first things I learned in the scouts — the command “ABOUT FACE” — say it and the entire troop is facing the other direction. Say it again any they’re back where they started.
The scouts were to take up the gay members issue (and I’m assuming, this includes transgender members as well, right?) this week, but instead released a statement: “due to the complexity of this issue, the organization needs time for a more deliberate review of its membership policy . . .”
Making out like rocket scientists isn’t fooling anyone — the choices don’t come more black and white than this. Either you discriminate or you don’t. I don’t like being toyed around with — it’s bad enough being excluded in the first place. This behavior likely damages the scouts further — even if they quit the discrimination business now, the level of trust has declined further and no one will believe them when they say “AT EASE!”

I disagree with the Boy Scouts, not letting gay are transgender scouts in. But they get most their money from The Mormon church. Another Christian Conservative churches following their policy of keeping gays out Will not hurt Them economically . scared that by letting gays in they will hurt themselves economically and they’re probably right
They’re hurting themselves financially now already. In the long run, it would seem to me that they’d want to be on the right side of history, so they should have just bit the bullet. But now, It may be too late.
I was a boy scout growing up i am transgendered now. most of the discrimination is in the organizations head quarters not down to the troop level. many troops have turned blind eye to gay scouts as the military does showing they care not about the sexual orientation of the scout but the morality of the scout. it is sad that most troops do discriminate.
But the great news about all this is screw the boy scouts if they wont let you play thier silly raindeer games. The Girl scouts will be more than happy to accept you into their fold. The Girl scouts of america is openly accepting any and all lgbt children into their organization. So if the boy scouts want to be lil bullies and not let you play then just go have an even better time with the Girl Scouts…. Besides cookies sell easiar than popcorn anyways
