I have contacted every sponsor which has pulled their advertising, and informed them the I won’t be using their goods or services and asking my friends and family to do so as well.
They are perfectly within their rights to pull their advertising, as I am in not using them.
Funny. Limbaugh’s comments, though in poor taste, are a far cry from any attacks made on Sarah Palin, Laura Ingraham, and others. This list is helpful in that I know where I will not be spending my hard-earned money.

Palin and Ingraham are public figures so there is a different standard here. Fluke is just a citizen not holding public office or a high profile position. This is the line Rush crossed.

Rush is an absolute angel compared your hero, Bill Maher. I can think of at least a dozen filthy words I could use to describe Maher; but none are bad enough and nasty enough to accurately describe him. Thanks for that, Lexie. My mother is a Holocaust survivor. Many others in my family survived The Holocaust and some were murdered. My life is structured around fallout from The Holocaust.

I don’t know what the problem is, it sounds like free markets at work to me. It is perfectly within the letter and the spirit of the U.S. Constitution to contact a business as a private citizen and tell them that you won’t be using their product/service anymore if a certain condition doesn’t change. And it is perfectly within the letter and the spirit of the constitution for said businesses to alter the conditions which inspired the outrage of their clientele.

You’re wrong on health issues though . . . some women do take BC pills to moderate their hormone balance and it’s a fairly good bet that one among those nine you speak of fall in that group — it’s just that its a personal matter and they have no reason to tell you or anyone else about it.

Well, how about these facts which I dare you to dispute:
Hormone balance and other issues can be successful treated with other meds than BC pills. When such drugs are included in the BC formula, it drives up the cost of BC pills to about $50 a month, or $600 a year maximum; not $3,000 as stated by Ms. Fluke.
Straight BC pills are usually about $9 a month.
I verified these facts with two physicians.
I’m not saying there aren’t some legitimate health issues here; but they don’t have to be confused with Birth Control. I support legitimate women’s health issues; but pregnancy or the prevention thereof is not a disease.
You aren’t willing to pay for family planning or hormonal healthcare or STD protection, but you are willing to pay for sexual “performance aids” (Viagra?)
I bet you’re the same genius who doesn’t want to pay for the “entitlements” people will need to support all of those unwanted pregnancies and the unwanted babies that will result from them. Geesh.
Didn’t your parents ever tell you that a “stitch in time saves nine?” You “conservatives” wouldn’t know what real conservative behavior or conservation was if it bit you on the ass. Conservativism, as in, planning for the future? Making prudent investments in regular healthcare rather than paying for outrageously expensive office visits? Paying for decent public education so that we don’t sink our future on privatized jails? The fact is that many of the users and takers on the left simply cannot afford to buy Sleep Number Beds or $50 Pro-Flowers for their honey on Valentines Day. I could go down the list; but you get the point. Their largest actual customer base is among the conservative.listening audience of talk radio. These very unwise sponsors who left Rush have lost about 2/3 of their potential customer base.
Rush will simply replace them in routine fashion, as sponsors come and go anyway.
