THE GUERRILLA ANGEL REPORT — [UPDATE: Trans bill passes – no bathroom exclusion! See below. ] The Baltimore County transgender anti-discrimination bill will be voted on next week by council members and at this point it appears they may be willing to pass a bill with protection against housing, jobs and public places discrimination, provided public restrooms and locker rooms are exempted from coverage.
Concerns from Baltimore County constituents about “men preying on women” have some on the council holding out for the bathroom exemption even though these concerns are not based on fact, never mind the danger trans people face if they’re forced to use the wrong restrooms.
Once again we’re seeing transgender rights stripped down to a “bathroom bill”. We’ve got to nip this trend in the bud, or else we’ll find ourselves protected, but with no safe bathroom or locker room to use.
I urge Baltimore County trans people and allies to continue to contact their councilors and insist bathrooms are included in the bill and that their fears are unfounded!

Men preying on women.. okay.. so you mean that transmen will have to use womens toilets, and meanwhile because they pass so well on testosterone, women will be screaming, calling the police, security, and.. because they think MEN are preying on THEM.. yes, thats a great idea, Baltimore!
I completely agree with you David Thomas. Best way to nip this in the bud I think is to send photos of transguys and explain, so by excluding bathrooms from protection, you are making it illegal for this guy to use the mens room.

We need to do a bathroom protest!
Fill the bigots public mens room with a bunch of transwomen and then see how they like it…
