THE GUERRILLA ANGEL REPORT — [Updated — no charges will be filed — see below.] This time its famous Hollywood director David O. Russell who was caught red-handed. While news reports are sketchy, trashy and varied, including the usage of incorrect pronouns, a Boward County, Florida Sheriff report says that the director of “The Fighter” inappropriately groped his niece (by marriage), 19-year-old Nicole Peloquin at a hotel gym.
Russell is currently working on a film near there. Nicole apparently is taking hormones but has yet to undergo SRS (sex reassignment surgery).
While there is a bit of he said-she said, it does seem clear that Russell felt he had permission to slip his hand under Nicole’s shirt and feel both breasts. Nicole, on the other hand, insists she did not give the okay.
While this is typically stuff of tabloids, one thing is clear, groping the breasts of your 19-year-old trans niece, whether with permission or not, is just plain creepy — the very point I want to make.

UPDATED – Jan. 7, 2012 – From the Chicago Tribune: “David O. Russell admits he groped his 19-year-old transgender niece in a Florida gym, but according to TMZ, “The Fighter” director won’t face charges in the incident. The case has been closed, a rep for the Broward County Sheriff’s Office tells TMZ, without any charges being filed because the alleged assault wasn’t witnessed by police.”
