Texas DMV says no to Confederate flag.

Not coming to license plates anytime soon in Texas.

THE GUERRILLA ANGEL REPORT — “We don’t want others to look at Texas with scorn and ridicule and think that we are a bunch of country bumpkins.” — Texas NAACP President Gary Bledsoe.

I wrote about this a few weeks back and I’m glad to report the Texas DMV board said no to the Confederate battle flag on license plates.

It is interesting that Gov. Rick Perry finally spoke on the matter and said:  “just a part of history that you don’t need to scrape that wound again.” Perry had a part in the appointment of all 9 members of the board.

  1. If you like what the plate means and you want to by it from the license plate owner, you can run a license plate search and do a reverse license plate lookup at licenseplate.net to find the owner to contact them. USRECORDSEARCH.COM performs a licenseplatelookup. At US Record Search, click on licenseplatesearch. You can also trace a plate to see who the owner of the plate is so you can contact them to report someone’s driving, such as their kids or employee.
