The soldier who verbally abused and threatened a trans woman was ordered to pay additional fines and will face further discipline from the military. Trans activists in Scotland say this conviction should make it easier for others to report hate crimes — Scotland is an area they say, where people traditionally were afraid to report a hate crime.
