THE GUERRILLA ANGEL REPORT — In a heated moment on the internet with a transgender woman who was assisting him with a instrument adjustment, Billy Corgan called her a “sad creation” and a “he-she”. While the offending comments have since been removed, I’m sensing a disturbing trend, with one of the latest being a questionable close association with Smashing Pumpkins fan site founder who publicly supported Prop. 8 in California. I’m not going to jump to conclusions, but he is on my radar now. I’m a long time Pumpkins fan and it would a major let down if, among other things, he’s transphobic. I hope this incident is a wake up call. I’d hate to yank his music off a playlist I program.
