LEXIE CANNES STATE OF TRANS — Officer Kenneth Furr remains in jail following his arrest for shooting at 3 trans women sitting in their car. Witnesses, including on-duty DC police, say Furr was standing on the hood of their car just before he fired through the windshield at them. Furr is a 20-year member of the force and was charged in 2004 with DUI. This much is known.
There are reports that the DC police handcuffed some of the trans women after the shooting and also that Furr might have been trolling for sex. I do not know for sure if this factual, but it is being reported in The Washington Blade here:
