Bridal store doesn’t want to be associated with “illegal action” (lesbian marriage).

A manager of a bridal store in New Jersey refused to sell a dress to a lesbian couple because gay marriage is illegal in that state. Across the river in New York though, it is legal.

Here’s hoping this bridal store — Here Comes the Bride, in Somers Point, N.J. becomes unhitched with its marriage to revenue pronto!

  1. Marriage from other states are recognized as civil unions in New Jersey. Does Here Come the HeteroBrides refuse to sell gowns to lesbian brides in NJ for civil union wedding ceremonies too? http://www.herecomesthebridenj.com/
